We maintain a transparent record of claims and cases that are currently excluded from the Evidence and Cases sections, with rationale and next steps.

Quarantined (pending verification)

• Netflix Autoplay case: Held until the cited 2025 preprint and exact metrics are verified. Rationale: ensure primary source validation before publishing. Next step: attach primary citation, confirm effect measurement and window.

• Commuter Carpooling RCTs: Held until the primary Nature paper is attached to our repo. Rationale: add original methods/results before inclusion. Next step: attach citation and extract behavior endpoints.

• Opower (Home Energy Reports): Held until the primary AER paper(s) are attached. Rationale: add original methods/results and effect sizes. Next step: attach citation and extract long-run effects.

Excluded as exemplars (scope mismatch)

• Uber Surge Pricing: Excluded from Cases as a behavioral strategy exemplar. Rationale: Market-price dynamics, not behavior selection/solution enablement. May be referenced in a context/dynamics appendix.

Scrubbed unsourced statistics

• Generic “70% fail” and “89% switch” style claims without primary sources. Rationale: violates Measurement Standards; no denominators/windows. Next step: re‑introduce only with traceable, primary citations and behavior endpoints.
